A simple, quick and delicious recipe that is high in protein. Perfect for your pre-workout and/or post-workout snack. This recipe is perfect if you are following a high protein diet that might coincide well with your workout.
Vegan Protein And Peanut Butter Brownies
- 100g chocolate whey protein
- 40g sugar-free cacao powder
- 70g stevia
- 100g whole-wheat flour
- 50g ground almonds
- 80ml coconut oil
- 6 tbsp sugar-free peanut butter + extra to put on top of the brownies
- 50g dark-chocolate pieces
- 240ml coconut milk
Begin by preheating the oven to 180C degrees.
Add all of the ingredients, minus the coconut milk, into the bowl of your Ninja Kitchen System. Using the plastic blade, pulse until you begin to form a creamy brownie batter.
Pour in half of the milk and select pulse again – repeat with the remainder of the milk.
Transfer the batter into a baking tray lined with grease-proof paper. Place some extra peanut butter over the batter, and create swirls using a cocktail stick – bake for exactly 18 minutes – you want the brownies to be gooey.
Remove the brownies from the oven and allow them to cool. Once they have slightly cooled, remove from the baking tray and place them on a wire rack to cool further.
Enjoy while they are warm and gooey.
