Vegan Hazelnut Chocolate Spread

A healthy twist on the traditional unhealthy and sugar loaded hazelnut spread. This recipe is much lower in fat than the conventional chocolate spreads. With zero added oils to the recipe and no refined sugars, you can now enjoy a healthier hazelnut spread

Ingredients

  • 75g raw hazelnuts
  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 3 tbsp cacao powder
  • 5 tbsp agave nectar
  • 15 tbsp oat milk
  • 2 tbsp coconut flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180C degrees

  2. Begin by placing the hazelnuts in a tray lined with baking paper and roast them for 5 minutes

  3. Using the bowl of your NINJA KITCHEN SYSTEM and the metal blade, place all of the ingredients into the bowl including the roasted hazelnuts

  4. Select high to process all of the ingredients together and form the creamy chocolate spread

  5. Store in a container, keep refrigerated and enjoy!
