There’s really no better way than a thick chocolatley drink to warm yourself up on a cold winters night! This vegan chai hot chocolate is so easy to make, and tastes delicious.
Vegan Chai Hot Chocolate
- 120ml chai tea (3-4 tea bags for extra flavour)
- 240ml coconut milk
- 50g dark chocolate pieces
- 4-6 medjool dates
- 1 tbsp. cacao powder
- Pinch of Himalayan salt
Begin by placing 3-4 bags of good quality chai tea with boiling hot water and allow the tea to brew.
Place a pan at medium heat with the coconut milk and dark chocolate and simmer to allow the chocolate to melt.
Once the chocolate has melted, pour the chocolate drink into your Ninja cup, along with the chai tea (minus the bags), medjool dates, cacao powder and salt and blend a few times until it turns into a thick hot chocolate consistency.
Pour into mugs and sprinkle with extra cacao powder.
Enjoy while warm.
