This thick and creamy marinade for chicken delivers a classic taste of India, and it can be ready to use for grills and barbecues in just 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 55g dried ancho chilli peppers
  • 1g fresh ginger
  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 10g fresh coriander, stems removed
  • 1g garam masala powder
  • 1g ground nutmeg
  • 15ml freshly-squeezed lemon juice
  • 240g Greek yoghurt
  • 125ml cold water

  1. Place the ancho chilli peppers into a small saucepan and pour in enough water to just submerge them. Bring to the boil, and simmer for 10 minutes. Strain the peppers, and allow them to cool.

  2. Remove the seeds and the top of the chilli peppers, and place them – along with the rest of the ingredients – in the 500ml cup of your Nutri Ninja Personal Blender with Auto-iQ. BLEND for 25 seconds – or until a smooth, creamy consistency has been achieved.
