Spiced Yoghurt Marinaded Chicken

This is the perfect mid week meal with mouth watering and delightfully rich Indian flavours. A meal that surprisingly requires little effort!

Spiced Yoghurt Marinaded Chicken

  • 500g Plain Yoghurt
  • 4 cloves Garlic peeled
  • 2 Inch piece Ginger
  • Juice 1/2 Lemon
  • 2 Green Chilies
  • 1 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  • 1 tsp Chilli Powder
  • 2 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 2 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tbsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt or more to taste
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
Prep Time


  1. Add all the ingredients for the marinade to the blender and blend on high untill combined.

  2. Add the chicken to a large bowl and tip in the marinade. Mix well and marinade for 1 hour or overnight.

  3. Preheat the oven to Gas Mark 7, 220 degrees C.

  4. Add the chicken to a large tray and bake in the oven for 35 – 40 minutes. Enjoy!
