A delicious guilt-free high protein chocolate orange flapjack recipe that is perfect for anyone who follows a high protein diet and is looking for a protein snack.
Protein Chocolate Orange Flapjacks
- Zest and juice from 1 orange
- 425g rolled oats
- 75g chocolate whey protein
- 2 eggs
- 250ml oat milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 80 - 100g granulated Stevia
- 150g no added sugar chocolate
- 2 tbsp chopped pistachio nuts
- Orange zest (optional)
Begin by preheating the oven to 180C degrees.
Using the bowl of your Ninja Kitchen System and the dough blade, add all of the ingredients and pulse until you form the flapjack dough.
Transfer the mixture into a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper – place in the oven and bake for approximately 15-20 minutes.
Remove from the oven and allow the flapjack to cool completely.
Place the chocolate in a bowl and place over a pan of hot water at medium heat – allow the chocolate to melt.
Pour the melted chocolate over the cold flapjacks; sprinkle with chopped pistachios and orange zest.
Place the flapjacks in the fridge to allow the chocolate to set.
Chop into even squares.
