Be sure your Nutri Ninja Pro is assembled correctly and plugged in. The cup must be turned clockwise to lock into place. Once the cup is locked onto the base, push down on the top of the cup to start blending.

The unit may be overheated.
As a safety feature the motor will automatically shut off if it becomes too warm during heavy loads. Unplug the unit from the wall & wait 15 minutes before using again.

Squeeze 2-3 drops of washing up liquid into the jar, fill halfway with warm water and pulse 5-10 times

Use a damp cloth to wipe the motor base clean. The cups, blade, & lids are dishwasher safe, and it is recommended to put everything on the top rack. Use extreme caution when cleaning & handling the blades. Always store the blades attached to the cup or a safe area.

The Best Blender
This is my second Ninja Blender as my previous one finally gave up and I really missed my morning smoothie. This time I ordered direct from Nutri Ninja and it arrived the next day, very impressed. The blender itself is so easy to use and to clean. I can rinse the blade under hot water, wash out the cup and am ready to go the next day. I can make a different smoothie every day in under a minute.

So far I've had this blender for about month and I must say its probably the best blender I've had. Using it for daily smoothie. Just note it's pretty loud though.

Great blender for smoothies and protein shakes, my primary uses, in fact it may be overpowered for just those alone. Purées nicely into liquid in 10-20 seconds, less than the 45 second maximum recommended time, which can be a great time saver vs. other blenders. The wide mouth cups make it extremely easy to clean. I have had my problems with it though, as this is my 3rd unit. The motor died on the first two, right about the time of the warranty expiration (imagine that!). Also the tabs on the cups seem to erode over time, presumably from the vibration of the machine. Once they have eroded to a certain point, they will no longer trigger the motor to spin. NutriNinja was kind enough to send me replacement cups and offer me a discount on a new blender as it was out of warranty. Well worth the price if you can get it under retail, at full price I would have tried another brand.
