Aah Nutella! Who doesn’t love it? My home made version is free of any nasties and is very popular with my kids! It also happens to be silky smooth and absolutely delicious.
Home Made Chocolate Spread
- 240g Hazelnuts
- 20g Cocoa Powder
- 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
- 130g Maple Syrup
- 1/4 Salt
- 125ml Milk of choice
- 2 tsp Oil
Preheat oven to 200 degree C or Gas Mark 6.
Add the hazelnuts to an oven tray and roast for 8 minutes. Allow to completley cool and rub between 2 towels to remove the skins.
Add them to the blender and blend until they resemble a fine powder. Add all the remaining ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth.
Serve with fruit/toast/whatever you fancy.
