Making your own nut butters really couldn’t be a lot more quick and simple! This gingerbread spiced pecan butter is the perfect, festive addition to your breakfasts, snacks and desserts and will completely transform a plain bowl of oats, to something incredibly delicious!
Gingerbread Spiced Pecan Butter
The rich, caramel like flavours from the pecans pair beautifully with the gingerbread spices and makes me feel oh so festive!
- 250g pecan nuts
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- Pinch sea salt
- Dash of vanilla powder
Preheat your oven to 180c and line a tray with baking paper.
Scatter the pecans onto the baking tray and place these in the oven for around 12 minutes to bake.
Once nicely roasted, add these to your ninja food processor and blend until completely smooth and creamy.
Add in your spices, salt and vanilla and blend again. Store this in an airtight jar, ready to enjoy on your porridge and toast!
