  • Base
  • 200g flour + additional for dusting
  • 50g semolina + additional for dusting
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 7g dry action yeast
  • 200ml warm water
  • 1 pinch salt
  • Sauce
  • 200g tinned plum tomatoes
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp basil
  • Glaze
  • 1 tsp green pesto
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Prep Time

  1. Add all of the dough ingredients to the ninja kitchen system with the dough blades attached and turn on to dough mode. Once all of the ingredients have combined, remove the dough from the system and remove the blades. Return the dough to the blender and put the top back on. Place to one side to prove for 30 minutes.

  2. In the smoothie attachments add the sauce ingredients and blend until smooth. Remove from the blender and apply to a low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sauce thickens. Set to one side and allow to cool.

  3. Once the dough has proved for 30 minutes, place on the centre of a pizza stone and begin to press from the centre working outwards to stretch the dough and form the crust. Apply the sauce using a spatula and top with ingredients of your choice. For this pizza I used vegan cheese, cherry tomatoes and a glaze made up of balsamic vinegar and green pesto free from dairy.

  4. Cook the pizza on 180 degrees for 20 minutes depending on the power of your oven. Cut up and enjoy with friends!
