There is nothing better then a hot chocolate on a cold night and this hot chocolate happens to be the best one ever!
Cashew Milk Hot Chocolate
Cashews make hot chocolate creamy smooth, slightly sweet and dairy free.
- 150g Cashews
- 750ml Water
- 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 3 tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- Pinch of Salt
- Pinch of Cinnamon
Soak the cashews in a bowl of water for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Then drain and rinse.
Add the cashews, water, maple syrup, sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla, salt and cinnamon to a blender and blend until smooth.
Pour into a medium sized pot and heat over medium/low heat until simmering.
Pour into 4 large glasses/cups.
Serve with toasted marshmallows and enjoy!
