This berry smoothie bowl is bursting with blueberries; I also added some sneaky greens and fats from tahini to improve it’s the nutritional profile.
Bursting Berry Smoothie Bowl
I have used frozen blueberries because they usually work out cheaper than fresh, will last for ages in the freezer (if you don’t eat them first) and give the smoothie bowl a great purple colour.
- 150ml oat milk
- 100g frozen blueberries
- 50g (1 large handful) fresh spinach
- 25g banana
- 1 tbsp tahini
- 12 ice cubes
- raspberries, unsweetened coconut, pumpkin seeds
Chop the fruit and place it in the blender with all of the ingredients apart from the ice.
Pulse for 1-2 seconds – repeat this 5 times. Then blend for 30 seconds or until everything is smooth.
Add in the ice and blend again until everything is smooth.
Pour the smoothie into a bowl and add the toppings.
