Incredibly easy delicious dinner packed full of colour and flavour made using the new Ninja Foodi.
Asian Crusted Salmon with Sesame & Kale Noodles
- 2 salmon fillets
- 200g rice noodles
- Handful kale
- Lime juice
- Sesame seeds (optional)
- Chilli (optional)
- Parsley / Coriander (Optional)
- For the Salmon Crust
- 2 tsp tamari (gluten free soy sauce)
- 2 tsp miso paste
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 4 tbsp ground flax seed
- 1 tbsp water
Pre-heat your Ninja Foodi using the bake setting at 200C for a couple minutes
Meanwhile, add all the salmon crust ingredients into a small mixing bowl and mix until it forms a smooth sauce
Layer the crust over the salmon and place into the Ninja foodi onto the provided metal racking for 5-6 minutes at 200C
Meanwhile, prepare your noodles by cooking as per packet instructions. 1 minute before the noodles are cooked add in the large handful of chopped kale to wilt.
Now switch the Ninja Foodi into the crisp setting, moving the salmon from the racking into the tender crisping dish for a further 2 minutes or simply continue baking for 5 minutes.
Drain the noodles and kale mixing in the juice of 1 lime and 2 tbsp of sesame oil
Finally plate up the noodles placing the salmon on top and finish off with sesame seeds, sliced chilli and parsley/coriander (optional)
